   Calamity

Debbie joined the Southern Cross Cruiser Club in February 2006

Her club name is Calamity, in deference to Wild Bill and Calamity Jane of the wild west ... honestly ... its got nothing to do with any of Debbie's assumed or otherwise personal traits!!

   Nickelberry

Nikki has her own club nickname and nametag from the Southern Cross Cruiser Club and really enjos coming to the meetings and getting out on the back of my bike

But she is driving Chopper nuts to go for a ride on his trike

  Southern Cross Cruiser Club

Joined Southern Cross Cruiser Club in February 2004 ... great bunch of people ... excellent rides

Click on the Southern Cross link for more information

At the AGM in August 2004 I was nominated to be a Riders Rep ... that's the last time I fall asleep at a meeting!!

Ugg and I have helped out as temp Ride Co-ordinators and have taken a few of the South rides since Chook moved to the northside ... I'm working on a theory that if we keep going to Picton someone will get the shits and take the ride elsewhere ... then we will have ourselves a new South Ride Co-ordinator ... it's a simple but good plan ... and it worked Jester took over as the South Ride Co-ordinator

My career as Riders Rep continues into a second year after being re-elected at the AGM in September 2005

At the AGM in September 2006 I was nominated and elected as Treasurer

After a hectic year at work where I couldn't get to most of the meetings I have retired from the Treasurers role

Well you can't keep a good man down, at the November meeting a Vice President position came up and due to a total lack of interest from anyone else I stuck my hand up

2008 AGM and elections for the committee have come around in July this year and I was reelected as Vice President, for all the 2008 Committee see the Members page

   Daytona BikeWeek

In February / March 2007 I was in Florida for work and I was able to dive off and go to Daytona Bike Week just before flying home ... amazing amount of bikes ... 99.9% harleys, helmets a rarity, and a good time being had by all

Yep, I did take my club vest to wear, rattled a few people as they had no idea who or what the Southern Cross Cruiser Club was!!
